Friday morning here in Cairo, always hard coming back to the house here by self, memories everywhere, but Gobi the cat keeps me company, and the sun is shining outside!
A day to reflect and sort more stuff out here, tax bits etc. as prob last visit before Mo's stem cell transplant, plan to fly back next Thurs am to London.
Out tonight to the Murph's to celeb my b'day (46 or is it 47 per Elliott's text!?!), and catch up w Rolle's etc Papes may come too.
Other teenage family humourist Ross (middle son 15) called last night to say he and Elliott (16) had had their hair straightened (usually v curly and long for those that don't know them or haven't seen them recently), I asked how it looked/did they like it, they said they'd send a photo, did it as a dare!.....apparently only problem is that's its in their eyes again now. Look out for the phot by email Mo or maybe they'll post it for all to see?
Getting cold sitting here inside house, so off to warm up in sun, get lunch. Prob go to The Nook, bacon and egg place in Maadi.
